Northumberland County was successful in an application to the Provincial Government for one million dollars to help bring county wide high-speed broadband coverage to it’s residents. A partnership was developed through an internet service provider to pay the balance of the cost in developing a network of towers throughout the county.
I am a very strong advocate for this program, and was the emphatic voice during debate on the application.
