Infrastructure Improvements
During the 2003 and 2006 Municipal Elections, we heard loud and clear that Trent Hills residents wanted their infrastructure repaired. To this end, we have done just that. Each year we have made significant headway in recapturing waste-water treatment capacity in Campbellford by continuing with our sewer speration programs. Our rural roads continue to rise in their condition index, and some previous gravel roads are now surface treated. Our downtowns continue to improve with new sidewalks, pavement, and energy efficient street lighting. Our Community Improvement Plan is starting to reflect our successful partnerships with merchants and property owners as our downtowns are becoming revitalized.
